the short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else. Nothing about a visit is kept beyond the host's short-lived server logs.

who is responsible

hosting and server logs

The site is served by statichost.eu (c/o Knackeriet, Sankt Paulsgatan 25, Stockholm, Sweden), whose servers, network and DNS run on European infrastructure. To deliver a page, a web server necessarily receives your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user agent. The host keeps access logs for at most 7 days and states that it stores no personal data in them. They are not used to identify anyone and not combined with other data. The host processes this on behalf of Away from Earth GbR under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Legal basis: the legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The site stores nothing in your browser. It has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no embedded content. Text is set in your device's own typeface; no font service is contacted.

If you write to an awayfrom.earth address, your address and message are used only to answer you and are deleted when they are no longer needed for that. Email for awayfrom.earth is hosted by Apple (iCloud Mail). Legal basis: answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

The KOENJI app, its website and its newsletter have their own privacy policy at koenji.cam/privacy.

your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@awayfrom.earth. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the one where you live or, where Away from Earth GbR is based, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
